2023 – Cancer

Solar Eclipses/ The Nodes: The areas for your sign are the most dynamic zones of all, signaling public and private events unfolding at the same time. Typically we live our lives with one area in high focus, and not both. But yours is a different course, and may lead to both domestic and professional changes. This may be because of getting a new job that requires you to move. Parents are also in the spotlight. For all signs: The underlying drive to form balanced relationships hinges on financial considerations. This is due to Lunar Eclipses in the signs of money, Taurus and Scorpio.

Saturn: Saturn enters your 9th house of legal matters, in-laws, extended family members and the general concept of your future. What’s not so general is the idea that you can almost feel a big change coming, but unable to pinpoint what or when. That’s called your intuition, and it may be giving you signals of what’s to come over the next 5 years.

Jupiter: Jupiter energizes the zones of career, as well as friends. There could be a promotion or new opportunity coming your way, so help things along by looking for them. With the help from other planets you could end up with a better job, and better pay. Enjoy time spent with friends, or relish in a friend’ss bounty of good news.

Retrograde Mars: Your sign will either feel the effects of Mars in a big way or not at all, depending on circumstances with people around you. On the stressful side you could feel “hemmed in” and unable to put your finger on what annoys you. On the plus side you can kick back and relax and seriously let the world go round. Escapist activities could be enjoyable. There’s a major new beginning of a personal nature coming your way, so remind yourself of this when your “get up and go has gone”.

Retrograde Venus: Money matters need careful monitoring during the retrograde, as a desire to indulge could lead to excessive spending. However long range wise, Venus may indicate a raise or other asset coming your way.

Cancer New Moon: takes place on July 17th and marks your “New Year’s Day” in astrological terms. You should start feeling more like your robust self, full of drive and passion to get something started. Although New Moons have a cyclic 19 year pattern, they don’t necessarily activate planets at each successive 19 year, thus making each New Moon special in its own way. Cancer Full Moon: takes place on December 26th, and lasts approximately 3 days. With a contact between Pluto and the Full Moon emotions could run high, stemming from someone else. Be careful in trying to soothe over things, because it won’t help and things could get worse.

It’s a “New” year and this typically means a year for new beginnings, ventures and lots of energy. This is not couch potato energy either, as there are times when lots of things are happening at once. Everything that ever was or is starts with a new beginning, and this is the year for you.

Special message for your sign: Cosmically speaking your sign is nicely aligned with other planets that are friendly to your sign, so take the time to enjoy yourself when you can. With a giant planet like Pluto shifting zones, it may impact relationships in a meaningful way. For some it means someone new, and for others it may be time to go your separate ways. If that’s the case you’ve learned a lot about yourself, and can now handle anything that life throws at you. Like the song goes “I am woman and hear me roar”. You are stronger and more confident.

The sun sign forecasts are generic in nature and may not apply to everyone as described. They are meant to highlight certain energies that are general in nature; however their impact may differ based on your unique birth chart. These forecasts are intended to “clue you in” to the planetary energies, so that you are better prepared to make the most of them when they arrive. Conversely you can avoid disappointment and aggravation knowing what planet is doing what thing and at what particular time. Your unique birth chart depicts where the planets were located depending on the date, place and time (if known). This blueprint provides insights into your nature, your preferences and what you’re seeking as a soul. With each of us on different paths, with different lessons to learn, any tool that helps us on that journey is a tool worth using. May you speak your truth, walk your talk and enjoy the journey!
